The Records Section at the Eureka Police Department is responsible for the dissemination and maintenance of all police reports and records. The Records Section processes all the paperwork for the Court, District Attorney and Probation Department regarding arrests and investigations handled by the Eureka Police Department.
The Records Section handles all requests for copies of records. The Records Section is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch. A copy of a Police Report may be requested by calling or coming into the Police Department. Requests are also accepted by mail.
